8. Stores ఫ్రాంచైజ్‌తో ఎలా కనెక్ట్ అవుతాయి?

Storeలో ప్రత్యేకంగా “Franchise Owner” అనే Field ఉండదు.

1. Important Idea: Franchise Works by Zone

Franchise is not linked store-by-store with a franchise ID.

Instead:

• Admin assigns Zones to a Franchise

• Any store that belongs to those zones becomes visible to that franchise

• Orders placed in those zones can generate franchise commission

Tip for client: Prefer giving each zone to only one franchise. If two franchises share the same zone, the system picks the first (oldest) franchise for commission.

6. How Commission Works (Simple Explanation)

Key Concept

Franchise commission is not a separate charge on the customer.

It is a share of the Admin’s commission from a completed store order.

Example

• Admin commission on the order = ₹100

• Franchise commission rate = 30%

• Franchise earning = ₹30

Admin’s wallet commission is reduced by this franchise share (₹30 in this example).

Resolution Rule

1. If franchise has its own commission % → use that

2. Else → use default franchise commission from Business Setup

7. When Commission is Added

Commission is calculated when an order is completed and the order transaction is created.

Applies to

• Normal store / product orders (with commission support)

Does not apply / becomes zero when

• Store is on subscription model (admin store commission is zero, so franchise also gets zero)

• Parcel orders (franchise commission is not applied in this flow)

• No active franchise is linked to the order’s zone

8. How Stores are Connected to Franchise

There is no direct “Franchise Owner” field on the store.

Connection is through Zone:

1. Store belongs to Zone A

2. Franchise is assigned Zone A

3. That store appears in Franchise Panel

When Franchise Adds a Store

• Franchise can add a store only inside their assigned zones

• New store usually starts as pending / inactive

• Admin must approve / activate the store before it goes live
